FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why don't you make a hybrid machine (Spit Roaster and smoker at the same time)?

The reason is healthiness; the smoker operates at temperatures below 250˚F and there is a deposit (mixture of creosote, moisture and grease) that adheres to the walls while barbecues generally operate from 350˚F to 500˚F with peaks possible at 700˚F or more, the expansion of the steel would cause the deposits to loosen and fall on your food which is not very appetizing.

What is the best fuel for Spit Roaster?

We recommend hardwood without contaminants (stain, oil, paint, etc.) avoid softwood or recycled wood like old pallet. You can use charcoal, but it's primarily designed for wood, so it will be more difficult to reach the high temperature. Some modifications are possible to improve the yield of coal. Moreover, some customers use both fuels at the same time, which offers them greater temperature control.

Why do you only have one model of outdoor fireplace?

It is a product where there is a large choice of model and manufacturer on the market, we have chosen an extremely robust model and a design which allows us to recycle scrap steel that we have when manufacturing the other equipment. So, as solid as possible at a reasonable cost.
